What’s been the strangest/funniest/most enjoyable/most touching time and place you’ve ever heard a Westlife song played?

for me it has to be the most touching and emotional time..at my Grandads funeral we played Flying Without Wings and then as we drove to his wake the same song came on the radio!! from that day on its had a special meaning to me and whenever i hear Westlife sing it live, i cry and think of my Grandad

I was out one night with the girls when Flying Without Wings came on, I broke my heart it was the first time i heard it after losing my baby and grandad on the same day. The song was released Oct 99 the same month i lost them both. I listen to the song on a regular basis and i find it very comforting!

Hiya,
Mine would have to be Close. I was with my best friend, and I was kinda just lying in his arms, and that song came on. It's now "ur" song, espeically the bit when you sing " You give me strength, you give me hope. You give me someone to love someone to hold. When I'm in your arms, I need you to know. I've never, never been. This close."
It's brought us closer together and has showed us how thankful we are to have each other. I know it probably sounds silly, but it's so speical to us. I could talk all night just to hear him breathe (: He is amazing, and that song speaks straight to our hearts. So thank you for singing it.

Mine Would Have To Be You Raise Me Up
Everytime I Play It It Reminds Me Of My Grandad Who Died 2 Years Ago.
And Now When I Play It I Look Back And Smile At The Memorys We Had.

My Aunt's funeral last december, You raise me up was sang at the funeral. She was 56 she died from Cancer.

The strangest place i heard a westlife song, was at a non league football ground. It was 'Amazing' it was great to hear it, but just at a strange place lol x

For Me it would have to be home it was the song we actually chose to play when my brother came home from afghanistan and as we were driving down it came on the radio i was nearly in tears lol

When I was entering the plane back home from holiday I could hear "Fly with me", the swing song of Westlife throgh the loudspeakers of the plane. It was quiet funny, because it really fit

I've got quite a funny one - When me and my mate went to London last year to see the boys at the O2 we went to Wembley market (we wanted to go to the arena but we got a bit side-tracked!) and we were wondering around saying "oh they're not going to play Westlife" but all of a sudden we were walking past this stall and out of the stereo came a Reggae version of Flying Without Wings! (OK it wasn't the Westlife version but we were happy!) so we just stood there waiting to do the arm moves! We probably looked a bit stupid but we didn't really care!
